As Assets Integrity Engineer - Rotating Equipment, you contribute to the Strategy and Governance of GOE, taking into account best practices regulatory requirements and engineering design. You contribute to the integrity & safety of the Unit and technical assurance via a number of methods, regular audits and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems. You are the representative of Operations in technical discussions.

1. In order to Ensure Integrity and Safety of the Unit, YOU ARE TO:

• Provide expertise to solve technical issues locally and fleet wide
• Participate in major equipment investigation as required
• Monitor local audits and carry out independent audits (three yearly)
• Highlight and follow up on technical risk
• Ensure compliance by following up on Class issues, local & Flag regulations
• Supplement shore base expertise or resources as business required

2. In order to achieve Continuous Improvement of tools and processes, YOU ARE TO:

• Help define and monitor relevant Key performance Indicators (KPI) for rotating equipment
• Collect and analyze fleet data to provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain fleet equipment databases
• Use vendors to identify and provide innovation
• Develop and maintain the GEMS procedures, processes and Code of Practices (COPS)
• Ensure Maintenance, development and championing of Tools and Applications with IT (aimed at improving reliability, emissions reduction and provision for future unmanned activities)
• Support data scientists to develop concepts for digital development
• Represent Operations (Ops) in strategical and tactical meetings

3. In order to ensure Equipment Lifecycle Assurance, YOU ARE TO:

• Review pre-defined Specifications / Calculations / Data Sheets etc
• Attend defined critical equipment Factory Acceptance tests (FAT)
• Provide support to Operations for Package HAZOP's
• Review Operational Test Procedures (OTP's)
• Conduct Construction Yard visits with focus on commissioning and preservation activities
• Participate in Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies

4. In order to Optimize Commercial Performance, YOU ARE TO:

• Identify and qualify vendors and sub-contractors
• Identification and qualification of alternative Vendors for maintenance (healthcare) agreements
• Support the Proposals process to develop accurate OPEX costs
• Provide input to develop equipment annual OPEX budgets
• Provide data for reporting

Job requirements:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Specialised in Rotating Equipment, especially offshore, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, centrifugal pumps, PD pumps
• Needs to be able to solve complex technical problems fast
• Knowledge of vibration monitoring techniques
• Practical knowledge required, not just theoretical
